    • Questions:
      • After the initial form what should we use for additional requests?
        • Go through Accommodate
      • This doesn't apply to Michigan Medicine employees right? Since we now are directed to MM HR ServiceNow site.
        • We still routinely provide guidance and assistance as the ADA Coordinators for Michigan Medicine, so yes, people can contact us through Accommodate for consultations etc.
        • For faculty you will still likely request ECRT but anyone from Michigan Medicine would work with the HR Solution Center.
        • For accommodation requests you would likely not be going to ECRT but if they are unable to help you they will point you in the correct direction.
        • Still report barriers to ECRT and request training.
      • Should you only report things that impact us directly?
        • Not necessarily. If you notice a website's color contrast is difficult, let ECRT know because it could be an access barrier to someone else. They recommend even if it doesn’t directly impact you, you should report it.
      • So after the initial form, we should use the additional requests?
      • If an employee has an existing Accommodation plan should you contact ECRT to add it to the new Accommodate system?
        • If you have a record of something that took place in the ECRT before January your previous interactions will not be in Accommodate. They still have access to it but there is no need to load it into Accommodate.
  • ITS Accessibility team updates

      • Announce that the captions are used for accessibility purposes only
    • Are you planning to create a document that we can all edit with suggestions for best practices for meetings or would you prefer getting our feedback after you and others develop it?
      • Yes this is the plan
